Hi,

I want to know how do i handle # character used in fields value while querying for data.

For e.g.

If a field name say EmpNum contains - Ramenk#101
Now if i want to search for this particular name in the table then how do i write a query.

Thanks,
Ramenk

What exactly have you tried so far.
I'm not 100% sure as to your requirements, are you saying that you want to search for rows containing a '#'? You could use the LIKE operator or the Instr function
