We are using Oracle XE & Apex 3.0. Everything is fine. Suppose we want to upgrade to standard edition, how to install Apex 3.0 on Oracle standard edition. Is the installation process different from installing Apex 3.0 on Oracle XE.What is the cost(license fee) for Oracle Standard Edition? Any information is welcome please.raj

APEX is free. XE is the free database which includes APEX.
Installation of 10g then requires APEX 3 to be installed, 11g includes APEX but it has to be "switched" on and a decision made on whether to use the inbuild EPG or the HTTP Server to serve up the pages.

The documentation for APEX covers all of this fine.
