Hi,

I'm writing the following query to insert the data into one tabel based on the read of the data existing in two tables,Please advise me on this query as I'm not able to execute the same.

Insert into PIM_TEST_VPMO_PMT(ID,VPMO_ID,PROJNAME,PMT_CODE)
Select PIM_TEST_VPMO_PMT_SEQ.nextval,t.* from ((SELECT a.vpmo_id from s_vpmo_project a,vpmo_pmt b where a.vpmo_id = b.vpmo_id),
(SELECT a.PROJNAME from s_vpmo_project a,vpmo_pmt b where a.vpmo_id = b.vpmo_id),(SELECT b.PMT_CODE from s_vpmo_project a,vpmo_pmt b where a.vpmo_id = b.vpmo_id))t;

Thanks,
Anil

Please read OraFAQ Forum Guide, especially "How to format your post?" section.
Make sure that lines of code do not exceed 80 characters when you format.
Indent the code (See SQL Formatter).
Use the "Preview Message" button to verify.

Michel

You have the table(s).
You have the data.
You have the code.

Here is what we have:
>I'm not able to execute the same.

Why do you expect any assistance when nobody but YOU can (re)produce what ever problem you may have?
