hey all,

i have the following code:

set term off feed on trimspool on RECSEP off
set echo off
set heading on
set linesize 150

SET MARKUP HTML ON

prompt <HTML>
prompt <HEAD>
prompt <TITLE>Test Report</TITLE>
prompt <STYLE TYPE="text/css">
prompt <!-- TD {font-size: 8pt; font-family: arial; font-style: normal} -->
prompt </STYLE>
prompt </HEAD>
prompt <BODY>
spool c:/temp/test.html
select * from emp;
set markup html off

It however gives me no error and it also generates the html page but the page has no data it is 0kb.

However when i run another sql script this html page gets populated and that script is in no ways related to the script given above. I am not understanding why this occurs.

Thanks,

SD

You implicitly execute "spool on" when you execute "spool myfile"

Regards
Michel

[Edit: add "implicitly"]
