Hi ,

I am taking RMAN backup like this :

backup archivelog all not backed up format '+DBDUMP/TST1/%d_%T_%s_%p.bkarc' delete all input ;

my archivelog are under :+LOGDUMP/TST1/ -archfile-

after RMAN is taking the backup of all archivelogs , it is deleting the directory TST1 too .is this normal with ASM and RMAN ?

Yes it is normal. rman removes the asm directory while deleting the last file from the directory.
