I want to use the dbms_scheduler package but unfortunately
i am getting the error while using it

BEGIN
dbms_scheduler.CREATE_JOB(
   job_name          =>  'job1',
   job_type          =>  'PLSQL_BLOCK',
   job_action        =>  'Insert into persons values (12334,"Henry");',
   start_date        =>   SYSDATE,
   repeat_interval   =>  'FREQ = DAILY; INTERVAL = 1');
END;



Error is

dbms_scheduler.CREATE_JOB(
*
ERROR at line 2:
ORA-06550: line 2, column 1:
PLS-00201: identifier 'DBMS_SCHEDULER.CREATE_JOB' must be declared
ORA-06550: line 2, column 1:
PL/SQL: Statement ignored


Any help will be appreciated

I am using the command but it giving the error

grant execute on
DBMS_SCHEDULER
TO ATTD


where attd is the user having dba priveleges

Error
DBMS_SCHEDULER
*
ERROR at line 2:
ORA-04042: procedure, function, package, or package body does not exist

DBMS_SCHEDULER is only available in 10.X and above.

You could use DBMS_JOB in 9.X

dbms_scheduler does NOT exist in 9i.
