HI,

We have a requirement where in i have to copy the contents of a table over DB link. This table has 6 CLOB fields. i have to copy the data for 0.35 million records. Since it is not possible to copy the CLOB columns directly , i want someone to help me with this. This is a highly critical activity which i need to do asap.

Thanks

Did I use Google? Even if your question hasn't been answered here, chances are that on other websites someone already has posted an answer.

Check this link. Atleast it gives you an idea how to do it. How did I find it ? It's very simple. There is a search engine called google and typed exactly your text and in the first page i got the clue what I am looking for. So I believe from next time onwards you will try to utilise the search facility.

Your title says "Need help in copying CLOB data over DBlink", but then you profess that it isn't possible ??

Why are you saying it isn't possible ??
