well.what ever format you use on your report.
same will be transfered to excel sheet using RPT2XLS.

Do you want changed format while exporting to excel as
compared to your report???

which sets format mask for excel as shown in report using RPT2XLS Package.

just use this
RPT2XLS.put_cell(11, 'AGM.DATE', FontColor => 44,
BgrColor => 47,  FontSize => 8, FontStyle => RPT2XLS.BOLD 
,Align => RPT2XLS.CENTER
  );

in format trigger of specific field.
set format mask of date field on report.

I already know how to set FontSize, FontColor, FontStyle, Align
and BgrCOLOR. I want to know how to set Format Mask of Number and Date DataType using RPT2XLS.put_cell.

Will u please mention me how to apply Number format masks.

I am trying to use the format mask as shown in Property Palette of Number Data Type but it couldn't work using format option as u mentioned in your last reply

Why don`t you set format mask on report level.

Also can you please post here put_cell code you are using
with number format you required.
Tell me number format you require so i can check it.

What other options can be set using format keyword in rpt2xls.put_cell. Format Mask of Number and Date data Type are now set.
Please provide an example if any other task can be performed other than setting format mask

For other options you better see RPT2XLS package.
As far as i concern it`s enough flexible to format your excel
file.
As u asked about other tasks you can add list and sorting.For this you have to change package according to your requirement.

use (NNN,NNN0.00)
EXCEL OUTPUT : 123.00 ==> for +ve no.
(123.00) ==> for -ve no.
0.09 ==> for no < 0.

But how can I use "CenterAcrossSelection"? How can I define in across which cells I need to put value?
