Hi,

I'm newbie in oracle.

I'm facing error when installing the oracle. this is the error message:

"Error in writing to directory /tmp/OraInstall2008-01-04_09-49-10AM. Please ensure that this directory is writable and has atleast 60 MB of disk space. Installation cannot continue.
: Success "

I've try to remove /tmp/OraInstall2008* and run the ./runInstaller, but still not work.

I've change the umask /tmp to 000, but still not work.

Maybe this error has has posted before and solved.

Please adv...

I've check the /tmp space, but there are still many free space.
Usage: 2%

is there any sugesstion..?

Not in % not in MB.
98% of 1MB is too small.
