Hi
I found on Amazon practice questions guides about 5.6 Developer and DBA exam. It look very fishy, maybe even brain dumps. For example this Blake Bobby is a pervert gay porn star. Books are Kindle only by "Amazon Digital Services, Inc.". For me it looks like spam and also quite expensive. Even anonymous books..

I can't provide any insight into Bobby's sexual preferences or profession, but the book is based on a brain dump.
I used the 'Look Inside' to grab a question and did a quick search. Yep... dump.
something for OCP Fraud team? Who does the reporting it?

Publishing dummy OCP questions is not any sort of fraud (Matthew does it, and his ethics and professionalism are as good as it gets) unless they are copies of real questions. It is always good to be vigilant, though. You can send a mail to the author (the correct author!) to ask for more information. Usually one would go through the publisher for this, but with self-publishing you'll likely need to track him down and mail directly.

I'd take a bit of care admitting to reading material that you acknowledge to be copies of test questions. I once did this AFTER an Oracle exam, researching a question that I found to be worded so badly there was no correct answer (of course the defense of this is that every question reads "choose the BEST answer", so once you eliminate all of the utterly ridiculous responses, the least ridiculous one remaining does actually satisfy the testing criteria).
Anyway, I was researching the question (I repeat: AFTER PASSING the exam), found it verbatim on the web with one of the two least ridiculous answers marked as the correct one. It turns out that the answer in the dump was correct for 10g, but there was no truly correct answer for 11g. I wrote to Oracle with this pretty much exact story: passed the exam, searched a question, found this dump site, and maybe you could reword this question because it has been rendered incorrect by 11g.
Oracle's response to me:
"Warning: Violation of Exam Security Policy"It has come to Oracle's attention that you have violated the Exam Security Policy.
After conducting an investigation, Oracle has determined that you fraudulently obtained content of exam 1Z0-XXX from a pirated 'practice test' or cheat site. Per the terms and conditions of the Oracle Certification Candidate Agreement that all candidates must accept to participate in an exam, Oracle reserves the right to take action against any candidate who engages in fraudulent activity.
We have carefully reviewed this incident and, while we would be well within our rights to invalidate your exam and possibly ban you from testing for 1 year for attempted fraud, we do not feel that you were trying to cheat on the exam. Please let this be a stern warning to you for future exams.
FWIW: I vote +1 this is the most amusing thread EVER in the Cert forum.
