Hi Experts :

I am working on BIRT report tool for which I use Oracle 10g DB as backend.
In BIRT tool I do connect using below connection string and then I put username/pwd to connect to oracle DB in BIRT report tool.

"
Driver Class : de.simplicit.vjdbc.VirtualDriverBirtWrapper (v1.6)
Database URL: jdbc:vjdbc:servlet:://testserver-stage.plateau.com/vjdbc/vjdbc,db10g
"
My ask is I wanted to know How to connect to same oracle DB using sql developer since above url can not be entered in connection details for sql developer.
Do I need to download any .jar file for sql developer to connect using sql developer??

Thanks in advance !!!

Guessing from what you have shown so far, in SQL Developer create a new "basic" connection as follows:

host: testserver-stage.plateau.com
port: 1521
service: db10g

However, that is only a guess. You need to confirm the values. Also, are you really trying to connect to a release 10 database? I do not know if the current release of SQL Developer can connect to something so old.
