hi,

My question is ...I have lot of inactive connection because of this now new session is not able to connect to the database ...
do any one know any query to remove inactive session?

Note:- It is MTS not dedicated server connection.

alter system kill session 'sid, serial#'

hi,

thanks for your relpy ... frankly saying i was knowing that query

But i have nearly 100 inactive session so as per the query i have to execute the query 100 time.

can you tell me how to remove my 100 inactive session in a single query ?

Not in a single query. You could use a pl/sql proc or spool out to a self generating script..
