How does one connect Oracle and DB/2?

  • Oracle's Transparent Gateway for DB2 allows DB2 to completely participate in a SQL*Net network.

  • You can access (read/write) DB2 data through normal database links.

  • If you have the distributed option, you can even push data into DB2 via a database link.
